#### Lesson Outline:
**1. Introduction (5 minutes)**
- Begin with a short prayer asking for understanding and a grateful heart.
- Ask the students to sit in a circle and discuss what it means to give presents or gifts. Ask questions like, "Have you ever received a gift? How did it make you feel?"
**2. Bible Story (10 minutes)**
- Narrate the story of Creation from Genesis 1-2 in a simplified version suitable for children.
- Emphasize how God created everything with love and gives us what we need.
- Show pictures of different things God created (sun, moon, animals, plants, people) and explain that these are gifts from God.
**3. Discussion (10 minutes)**
- Write on the whiteboard: "What are some things God gives us?"
- Encourage students to raise their hands and share their thoughts, writing their answers on the board. Examples could include food, water, family, friends, nature, and our talents.
- Explain that these gifts come from God's love for us and it's important to be thankful for them.
**4. Activity: Gratitude Cards (15 minutes)**
- Provide each student with construction paper and crayons/colored pencils.
- Instruct them to draw a picture of something they are thankful for that God has given them. It can be anything that makes them happy or something they use every day.
- Once they finish their drawings, help them write a simple thank-you message on their cards, such as "Thank you, God, for my family," or "Thank you, God, for the trees and flowers."
- Allow them to decorate their cards with stickers.
**5. Song and Prayer (5 minutes)**
- Teach the students a simple song of thanks, such as “Thank You, Lord” or “He's Got the Whole World in His Hands.”
- Lead the class in singing the song together.
- Close with another short prayer, thanking God for all His gifts and asking for a heart of gratitude.
**6. Conclusion (At dismissal)**
- Recap the key points of the lesson: God gives us everything we need because He loves us. It's important to be thankful for His gifts.
- Encourage students to share their gratitude cards with their families and explain what they learned today.
